How Does an Air Source Heat Pump Work?
Think about a fridge. A fridge takes heat from inside and pushes it outside. A heat pump does the opposite. By using a special refrigerant and a compressor, the system extracts heat from the external air and transfers it into your radiators, underfloor heating, or hot water cylinder. Essential Requirements: EPCs and Heat Loss Surveys

Can Air Source Heat Pumps Be Installed in Flats?
Yes, but they typically require planning permission and a sound (noise) assessment to ensure they do not impact neighbours.
